<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic wastewater treatment method capable of suppressing the generation of surplus sludge, and a method for suppressing the generation of surplus sludge. <P>SOLUTION: The organic wastewater treatment apparatus 100 includes: a closed biological treatment tank 10 in which organic wastewater is aerobically treated by activated sludge; an oxygen-enriched gas supplying device 11 which supplies an oxygen-enriched gas in the organic wastewater; a water supply means 12 which supplies the organic wastewater, containing the oxygen-enriched gas supplied by the oxygen-enriched gas supply device, in the biological treatment tank; and a sparging means 13 which sparges organic wastewater above the water surface of the organic wastewater in the biological treatment tank, wherein the water supply means 13 can send the organic wastewater containing the oxygen-enriched gas to the treatment tank 10 while generating swirl flows in the organic wastewater containing the oxygen-enriched gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
