<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller and communication method for more efficiently controlling a plurality of apparatuses by utilizing a few sensors. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a controller 100 comprising a memory 101 that stores first correspondence of at least one sensor for detecting a person to a plurality of apparatuses. Either of the at least one sensor is mapped to two or more apparatuses. The controller also comprises: a communication interface 105 for communicating with the at least one sensor and the plurality of apparatuses; and a processor 100 for controlling the plurality of apparatuses corresponding to the sensor through the communication interface based on a detection result from each of the at least one sensor by referring to the first correspondence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
