<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device, capable of effectively damping vibrations of side parts of a paper sheet being fed to reduce sorting sound. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeding device includes: a paper feeding roller 25 and a sorting member 27 contacting the paper feeding roller 25 at a predetermined pressure, in which a plurality of stacked paper sheets are sorted and fed one by one by a nip portion between the paper feeding roller 25 and the sorting member 27 based on one-directional rotation of the paper feeding roller 25. A shaft portion 26 holding the paper feeding roller 25 is provided with side regulation members 41, 42 which regulate the side parts of paper sheet. The side regulation members 41, 42 may be fixed to positions corresponding to both sides of the paper or may be movable along the shaft portion 26 and positioned in interlocking with side regulation plates 31, 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
