A dictionary information display device displays explanatory information on a desired search word retrieved from dictionary data on a main display module, creates list data about examples, descriptions, and phrases incidental to each word meaning included in the explanatory information, and displays, on an auxiliary display module, a supplementary information list screen that arranges the beginning parts of the individual examples, descriptions, and phrases line by line in headline form. When the user selects any one of the examples, descriptions, and phrases on the list screen displayed by the auxiliary display module, the entire contents of the selected example or description are displayed by the auxiliary display module. |
