A cabinet for mounting electric energy meters for centralised measurement comprises a box (2) in the shape of a cube with rounded corners and having at one end a flat edge (3); a front cover (4) that fits into the flat edge (3) of the box (2) with a safety lock (5) and is attached by means of top hinges (6); a double fastening strap (8) arranged on the rear side of the box (2) that forms the cabinet (1) for fastening the cabinet (1) to a post or another outer structure; fastening devices (12) for mounting electric energy meters (9) and the cabinet monitor (10), an internal clamp (11) for preventing illicit removal of the electric energy meters (9) and cabinet monitor (10); an optical bus bar (13) and optical LEDs (14) for identifying each electric energy meter (9) suitably mounted in the cabinet (1); a cable inlet (7) for the input terminal (17) that comprises a cover (18) with a clamp (19) and a cable outlet (20) from the cabinet (1); phase blades (15) and neutral blades (16).
