摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time until completion of engine start while preventing the effect of torque decrease shock upon the start of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle control device includes: an engine 1, a motor 2; a first clutch 4 switching between an HEV mode and an EV mode; a second clutch 5 subjected to slip engagement upon mode transition; and an engine start control means (Fig.10). When the torque at the request of start being the engagement torque of the second clutch 5 at the request of the engine start is equal to or less than shock non-occurrence torque due to torque decrease of the second clutch 5, the engine start control means (Fig.10) sets torque upon the mode transition being engagement torque of the second clutch 5 upon the mode transition to a smaller value as compared with a case in which the torque at the request of the start is larger than the shock non-occurrence torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
