<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit capable of reducing switching loss of a switching element by adjusting a gate current of the switching element without detecting a main-circuit current and a gate voltage of the switching element. <P>SOLUTION: A driving circuit 10 is connected between a switching element Q1 and a control circuit that generates a control signal for controlling an ON period and an OFF period of the switching element based on a feedback signal, and supplies a gate current to the gate of the switching element.
