<p>Provided is a tonneau cover device configured so that the grip board can be held in a horizontal position. A tonneau cover device (10) is provided with: a tonneau cover sheet (40); a winding shaft (70) for the tonneau cover sheet (40), having the rear end of the tonneau cover sheet (40) secured thereto; a tube-shaped case (50) for housing the winding shaft (70) therein and having an opening (60) through which the tonneau cover sheet (40) enters and exits and which is formed at a corner of the case (50), the corner being formed by the upper portion of the case (50) and by a side portion of the case (50), the side portion being adjacent to the upper portion and being located on the side of the case (50) from which the tonneau cover sheet (40) is pulled out; a grip board (20) joined to the front end of the tonneau cover sheet (40); engagement hooks (30) provided at both ends of the grip board (20) in the width direction thereof; and a support section which supports the engagement hooks (30) with the tonneau cover sheet (40) wound up and which is formed by the opening (60)-side end (51) of the upper portion of the case (50) and by the opening (60)-side end (52) of the side portion of the case (50), the side portion being adjacent to the upper portion of the case (50) and being located on the side of the case (50) from which the tonneau cover sheet (40) is pulled out.</p> |
