The riding aid has an adjusting pin (4) for releasable connection with a corresponding adjusting eyelet that is introduced in a riding saddle, where the adjusting pin is fixed at the inner side (1) of a boot leg (2) of a riding boot (3). The adjusting pin has a head within the riding boot at the inner side of the boot leg. A reinforcing element is inserted between the head and the boot leg. The reinforcing element is made of plastic, glass fiber reinforced plastic, Teflon(RTM: Polytetrafluoroethylene) or carbon.
