The method involves applying a plastic matrix material (400) e.g. liquid and powder, on a fiber structure (300) e.g. fiber web, and hardening the plastic matrix material. The plastic matrix material comprises magnetic and/or magnetizable components (401). The fiber structure is arranged in an artificial magnetic field during applying the plastic matrix material such that a magnetically supported attachment of the plastic matrix material is made at the fiber structure. Spraying process is carried out by a movable spraying nozzle (210) or a spraying lance. An independent claim is also included for a shaping tool for manufacturing a form-stable fiber reinforced plastics composite.
