A vehicle air bag system is provided, which can facilitate confirmation of a state of an introduction part of an air bag housed in a cover. The vehicle air bag system comprises an air bag that includes an introduction part 32 into which an inflator 4 is inserted and that injects gas, and a general part 31 that inflates and expands vertically downward in a vehicle interior; a cover 1 that houses the introduction part 32 and the general part 31 in parallel. Further, an observation window 16 is formed in the cover 1 at a position corresponding to the introduction part 32.
