Classes 20(3) and 20(4) A draught excluding strip, beading or moulding comprises a rubber or like strip having a longitudinal groove 4 to receive a flange 5 on which it is mounted, one or both walls of the groove being formed with teeth 6 which are so directed that the strip may readily be positioned on the flange 5 but is prevented from accidental removal. A fabric or other covering 9 has one edge held in groove 4 by means of teeth 6 and its opposite edge received in a slot 10 which has teeth 11. A draught excluder is provided with an effective portion 2 of leaf or other form but for a beading or moulding this is omitted. If the covering 9 is not required, the slot 10 is omitted and the surface of the strip may be serrated or otherwise formed to improve its appearance or may be coated with a flock or other pile surface. |
