Disclosed is a treatment composition for a wiping paper, which comprises a specific polyorganosiloxane containing an amide polyether group. The treatment composition enables a wiping paper such as a tissue paper and a toilet paper to be imparted with excellent texture with respect to flexibility, smoothness and the like, does not cause the discoloration of the wiping paper, and does not deteriorate the water-absorbing properties of the wiping paper.
