The latent heat storage device (1) comprises a hollow structure (3), which is filled with a latent heat storage material. The structure surrounds the latent heat storage material. The structure comprises closed ends, particularly the ends of the structure are closed by welding, gluing, or another type of closure. The wall of the structure is made of plastic, particularly polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polymethyl methacrylate or polystyrene. A frame is provided, which is made of metal, particularly aluminum or aluminum alloy. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a latent heat storage device. |
