Class 52(5) A clothes airer comprises suspension hooks 4 at one side of a flat horizontal framework 1, 2 provided with clothes-supporting bars 3 normal to a line connecting the hooks, extension frames 7 being mounted at the ends of the framework to fold flat thereagainst. Eyes 6 of the hooks engage the members 1, 2 so that the hooks 4 fold down on top of the framework, the extension frames 7 folding on the top of the hooks.
