<p>The device has balancing units (2) for preventing evaporation of liquid fuel (3) during gauging operation so as to constantly maintain an inner part of a gauge (1) at saturation pressure in applicable temperature and pressure conditions. A viewing glass (7) is fixed on an outlet opening (5) of a gauge body (4). An emptying pipe (9) is mounted at an outlet of the glass and connected to a fuel collecting tank (8). A rigid U-shaped siphon forming pipe section (10) is branched on the pipe so as to block passage of fuel vapors toward the tank.</p> |
