<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink for a writing implement capable of improving the waterproof property of pigment ink, also exhibiting a sufficient handwriting-fixing property even on writing on an ink-unpenetrable surface such as that of a resin film, and a writing implement building it in. <P>SOLUTION: This aqueous ink composition for the writing implement contains at least a pigment, water, and polycarbonate polyol copolymerization type urethane emulsion. The emulsion is added into the total ink composition by 1 to 15 wt.% range as a resin solid portion.
