<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network information setting method for automatically setting network information without depending upon human intervention. <P>SOLUTION: A network information setting method is implemented by including: parameter generating steps (S103, S203) wherein a node device and a neighboring node device mutually communicably connected via the link on the optical IP network automatically dispense parameter information required for setting a link to a present node device side in order to provide a service of an optical IP network, on the basis of a node identifier previously applied to the present node device (S101, S201), using that a cable is inserted into the present device as a trigger (S102, S202); and parameter exchange steps (S104-S106, S204-S206) of exchanging parameter information between the node device and the neighboring node device, and setting generated parameter information and acquired parameter information in association with each other as network information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
