LACTOBACILLUS PLANTARUM SY99 AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A novel Lactobacillus plantarum SY99 is provided to produce bacteriosin with pH stability and thermal stability and to suppress various pathogenic bacteria. CONSTITUTION: Lactobacillus plantarum SY99(KCTC 11766BP) has an antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Shigella flexnerim, Shigella sonnei, Bacillus cereus, or E.coli. An antibacterial composition contains Lactobacillus plantarum SY(KCTC 11766BP), a culture thereof, or bacteriosin produced from the strain.
