APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING LEARNING ABILITY

PURPOSE: A study ability diagnosing device and a method thereof are provided to automatically diagnose solving abilities according to each problem type through a semantic model and supply data according to the diagnosed result, thereby increasing a motive of a student using a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A problem pattern relation structure extracting unit(311) reads structure information of a problem from semantic information. The problem pattern relation structure extracting unit finds a problem pattern from semantic information of the problem. The problem pattern relation structure extracting unit extracts skills necessary for solving a problem and relationship between problem patterns. A test result extracting unit(313) extracts a test result of a student using problem related information according to a diagnosis purpose. An equation composition unit(315) composes a logical equation by a semantic structure of the problem and a problem solving result of the student.
