PURPOSE: A system and a method for detecting oil leak of an oil pipeline using pressure waveforms are provided to detect accurate oil leak states by calculating current value with high precision. CONSTITUTION: A system for detecting oil leak comprises a first waveform measuring device(21), a second waveform measuring device(22), a transmission unit, a database(40), and an oil leak detecting device. The first and second waveform measuring devices are installed in an oil pipeline at a fixed interval. The transmission unit transmits waveform measured values measuring in the first and second waveform measuring devices in real time. The database stores information about the position of the oil pipeline and the first and second waveform measuring devices and the reference waveform of oil. The oil leak detecting device detects variable waveforms from the waveform measured values to determine oil leak states. |
