Proposed method comprises producing uncured tire in making tread rubber by pile winding of crude rubber band and curing of uncured tire in mould. Mould has ledges to form tread grooves in tread rubber. Ledge is arranged radially outside of crude rubber band winding edge to make tread rubber of uncured tire in said mould.
