A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots has a feed conveyer, a roller cleaning unit, consisting of pairs of rollers, which counterrotate, a pile distributor, blanket cleaners and unloading conveyers. On the both sides of the cleaning unit, which is formed by two planes, arranged at acute angle to each other, and the vertex, directed upwards, an activator is mounted. The activator is formed by an arched bracket, arranged from above, the middle part of which is mounted in an immovable cylindrical hinge, and two lower ends have revolving beams fixed in the hinges, on which driven cylindrical brushes with elastic blades, having directions of rotation downwards are mounted by three. Each beam, by the upper part thereof, is connected with arched bracket by a tension spring. The bracket itself is kinematically connected to a mechanism of driving thereof into oscillatory movement in the horizontal direction. |
