The invention relates to electrometallurgy and concerns a method for producing hollow, mainly elongated ingots of ring section by ESR (electroslag remelting) and device for it implementation. A characteristic feature of the method is that current is supplied through the wall water-cooled draw bar to slag in casting process of hollow ingot. The claimed device comprises the current-carrying water-cooled mold made of insulated from one another current-carrying section, located in slag bath and not-current-carrying section, which forms external surface of ingot and water-cooled draw bar to forming of inside hollow of ingot. The draw bar made sectional, namely from isolated from one another current-carrying section, located in slag bath and not-current-carrying section, which forms the inside surface of ingot, and each of above said sections of draw bar is at location layer of corresponding sections of mold. In wall of current supply section of water-cooled draw bar is placed around the perimeter of current supply element made as ring with the possibility of contact with slag bath in smelting process. Technical result: possibility to form stable homogeneous micro-, macrostructure of cast metal of ingot with high physical and mechanical properties. |
