PURPOSE: A device preventing the information leakage of a mobile terminal, a method thereof, and a program recording medium thereof are provided to prevent the leakage of information by sensing a leakage risk of critical information beforehand and dealing with the leakage risk. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(150) stores a white list about an application. A sensing unit(120) includes an application execution sensing unit sensing and notifying the execution of the application to a control unit(130) and a rooting sensing unit confirming and notifying a rooting state of a mobile terminal to the control unit. If the sensing of the application execution is notified, the control unit checks a white application. If the mobile terminal is in the rooting state, the control unit controls a responding unit. An application terminating unit(142) prevents the leakage of information by compulsorily terminating the application running.
