FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: rotary hydraulic cylinder includes housing, rotating blade and mechanical lock built into the blade. Rotating blade is made as a part of mechanical lock deactivated during the operation of hydraulic cylinder and automatically locking the blade in extreme positions. In the proposed hydraulic cylinder with automatic locking of blade in extreme positions there has been implemented the tracking principle allowing reliable locking of the blade in extreme positions in case of failure of hydraulic system or decrease of operating pressure. ^ EFFECT: improving reliability of blade locking in extreme positions; improving repairability and simplifying the design. ^ 1 dwg
