FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: strain A(H3N2) - A/8/Perth/16/09 is a reassortant prepared on the basis of two viruses: epidemic A/Perth/16/2009 (H3N2) and high-reproducibility donor A/Puerto Rico/8/34 (H1N1). The strain has inherited the genes HA and NA coding the surface virus proteins from the epidemic virus, and the genes PB1, PB2, PA, NP, M, NS coding the internal non-glycolised proteins from the donor. The strain A(H3N2) - A/8/Perth/16/09 is applicable for production of a monovalent and three-component vaccine for immunisation against influenza virus subtype A(H3N2). ^ EFFECT: strain shows genetic stability in passages on chicken embryos; it is safe for humans. ^ 3 dwg, 7 tbl
