FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: lightning-protection screen (LPS) comprises several capacitor turns placed on the surface of coils near a linear output, occupies little space and delivers a winding from a row of costly structural elements and technological operations. High-voltage (HV) windings 330, 400, 500, 750, 1200 kV with capacity of 250Ç1250 MVA are arranged by continuous winding without interweaving of turns and without soldering of jumps, with low dimensions of turn-to-turn insulation and coil-to-coil insulation and increased stocks of electric, mechanical and thermal resistance. LPS is manufactured according to a new technology separately from the winding, has a weight of several kg and may be delivered and installed on the HV winding. Production of transformers with the LPS is simplified due to reduction of insulation on wires, no soldering inside windings. Time expenditures are reduced twice to wind a winding, dimensions and loss of time, and operation reliability increases. ^ EFFECT: higher lightning-surge proofness by a cost-effective and reliable facility - placement of a lightning-protection screen high-voltage winding on several coils. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
