FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: cutter for mining machines includes holder with axial channel in which a shank of cutting tip is fixed with possibility of rotation and restricted axial movement. Elastic element in installed in axial channel between end face of axial channel and shank. Peculiar feature of the above proposed cutter is that holder is provided at least with one radial slot in which a guide rod is fixed. Shank of cutting tip is provided with inclined slot on outer surface for interaction with guide rod of holder. Wear-resistant insert has working head and several blades. Version of shank design of cutting tip with replaceable sleeve rigidly attached to it and the upper part of which is reinforced with wear-resistant material is provided. In addition, lower part of sleeve is provided with inclined through slot for guide rod. ^ EFFECT: improved cutter wear resistance. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg
