E-shaped crossbar moves in distal direction along clamped terminal effector for tissue cutting and for ejection of staples from each side of cut. Sewing bar with E-shaped crossbar forces separation of anvil from elongated tray with space to ensure proper formation of closed stapes, in particular, when clamped amount of tissue is not sufficient for separation of terminal effector with space.
