PURPOSE: An image sensor is provided to selectively perform an analog binning operation. CONSTITUTION: An even number of signal lines(SL1,SL2) are connected to an amplification unit. A plurality of CDS(Correlated Double Sampling) switches(501~50n) are located between sampling units and the signal lines. The CDS switches connect an even number of sampling units to the signal lines during an analog binning mode. The CDS switches connect one of the sampling units to one of the signal lines during a general operation.
