An installation for chipping skull in ladle capsules comprises a frame with a vertically mounted rotary mechanism of reciprocating movement of a working body made in the form of a plate with beveled blade surfaces located on the perimeter in the form of a crown and radially in the form of rays. The blade surfaces of working body are equipped with teeth formed on the projections of crown along the perimeter and on radial blades so that on adjacent radial blades the teeth are alternately located at a distance from 1/3 to 2/3 of the distance from the center of working body, while the cutting edges of blades and teeth are wedge-shaped and hard-faced, besides the mechanism of reciprocating movement of the working body is mounted in the housing on a rolling bearing with possibility of rotation using a pin gear, and the drive of displacement mechanism is equipped with two gear motors cinematically connected to the working body through a closed gear transmission with cylindrical pinions.
