PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a touch screen operation method thereof are provided to implement touch pressure of a touch screen by using an embedded acceleration sensor. CONSTITUTION: An acceleration sensor(510) is embedded in a portable terminal and measures acceleration according to the movement of the portable terminal. A controlling unit(520) obtains an acceleration value in the acceleration sensor. The controlling unit adds an absolute value of an acceleration value based on a touch event generation point if there is a touch event for touching a touch screen. |
