<p>The method involves providing adaptation speed factors via a flight phase, from a four dimensional (4D) profile and time prediction associated with a required time for arrival (RTA) point, to obtain new 4D path adapted to RTA constraint. Convergence of calculations of flight time towards duration corresponding to compliance of the time constraint, is managed by an iteration controller (16). Current prediction of passage time at the point is monitored to signal, alter or control readjustment of the profile based on current compliance of arrival time estimated opposite to the RTA constraint. An independent claim is also included for a device for planning, path calculating, predicting and guiding for respecting passage time constraint of an aircraft.</p> |
