The devices (200a, 200b) have a communication unit communicating with a communication network (202) via Web Services in conformity with protocol stacks (206a, 206b). The communication unit comprises coding and/or decoding units e.g. coder (208) and decoder (210), for coding and/or decoding of frames (201a, 201b) of data according to a binary XML format. A storing unit stores structures of the frames of data to be exchanged on the communication network, where coding and/or decoding of the frames of the data is realized in accordance with the structures of the frames of the stored data. An independent claim is also included for a method for communication between devices.
