METHOD FOR PREDICTING RISK OF NODULAR GOITER IN FEMALES

A method for predicting the risk of the nodular goiter in females provides for accounting for dermatoglyphic features associated with this pathology. The fingerprints of the patients are taken with the use of the roll and the printing ink. The significance of each dermatoglyphic features is assessed based on the separate diagnostic coefficients. The overall diagnostic coefficient is calculated (&Sgr;DC). When &Sgr;DC ≥ 13.0 the high risk of the nodular goiter is predicted. When &Sgr;DC ≤ -13.0, the high antirisk is suggested. In case of -13.0 ≤&Sgr;DC ≤ 13.0, the information for risk prediction is insufficient.
