Hot carnallite solutions are purified from mechanical impurities and carnallite is crystallised by cooling the solutions on controlled pan crystallisation apparatus to obtain carnallite crystals with mean particle size greater than 0.3 mm. The obtained pulp undergoes hydraulic separation by thickening with outlet of fine fractions.
