PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of a solar cell by forming bus bars on a lower side of a support substrate and relatively increasing a valid area of the support substrate. CONSTITUTION: A back electrode layer(200) including a first through groove(TH1) is formed on a support substrate(100). A light absorption layer(500) is formed on the back electrode layer. A buffer layer(600) including a second through groove(TH2) is formed on a light absorption layer(500). A front electrode layer(800) including a third through groove(TH3) is formed on the buffer layer. Connection electrodes(310,320) are formed on either a lower surface or a lateral surface of the support substrate. |
