摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight, and also to prevent as much as possible lateral displacement of power generation cells caused by an external load. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack 10 comprises a fuel cell 16 in which a plurality of power generation cells 15 are stacked on one another. A pressurizing unit 26 is interposed between an end in a stacking direction of the power generation cells 15 and a backup plate 24. The pressurizing unit 26 comprises: a cylinder part 60 which applies pressing force in the stacking direction by hydraulic pressure; a compressor 70 which is provided in a hydraulic pressure supply pipe 64 connected to the cylinder part 60 and supplies the hydraulic pressure; and a pressure accumulation part 76 which is connected to the hydraulic pressure supply pipe 64 and supplies, in place of the compressor 70, the hydraulic pressure to the cylinder part 60 if an impact load greater than a predetermined value is applied to the fuel cell 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
