<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable successful attachment of press-fit terminals to a substrate while positioning the press-fit terminals. <P>SOLUTION: Substrate connection parts 4 of multiple press-fit terminals 3 led out from a connector housing 1 are inserted into positioning holes 12 of a terminal alignment member 11 to adjust the alignment relative to through holes 7 of the substrate 6. The terminal alignment member 11 is formed by a thin sheet material made of a resin. Each positioning hole 12 is formed in a size that allows a guide part 9 of the press-fit terminal 3 to be inserted thereinto and positioned. A pair of slits 13 are cut in a radially outward direction at the positioning hole 12. When a press-fit part 8 passes through the positioning hole 12, both slits 13 are pushed and broadened, thereby expanding the positioning hole 12. Thus, this structure enables the press-fit part 8 to be smoothly passed through the positioning hole 12 and electrically connected with each through hole 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
