<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display device capable of displaying a high quality image, and further to provide an electronic apparatus provided with the electrophoretic display device. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display device 1 comprises: a circuit board 10 and a counter substrate 20 disposed so as to face each other; fluid dispersion 60 held by the circuit board 10 and the counter substrate 20; a plurality of foundations 11 disposed in a display area 10a on the circuit board 10 such that each two adjacent foundations 11 interpose each slit 90 therebetween; a plurality of reflection plates 13 individually disposed on top surfaces of the plurality of foundations 11; slit electrodes 19 disposed on the slits 90 on the circuit board 10 as a plurality of first electrodes; a counter electrode 21 disposed on the counter substrate 20; and an electrophoretic layer filled with the fluid dispersion 60 formed by dispersing black particles 61 having a different color from that of the plurality of reflection plates 13 into a dispersion medium 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
