<p>The problem addressed by the present invention is that it is not possible to distinguish normal character information and gesture operations even if attempting to perform an editing task such as deleting character information during input of character information at a character input region when inputting character information comprising kanji, hiragana, katakana, symbols, and alphanumeric characters all in the same mode. A character information input means (101) transmits input character information consecutively to a gesture detection means (103). The gesture detection means (103) performs gesture detection on the basis of the character information received from the character information input means (101). The gesture detection means (103) detects, from the vector direction of a first coordinate and second coordinate of each stroke of the input information, whether the stroke is a gesture or normal character input.</p> |
