PURPOSE: A heat sink for an LED lamp and an LED lamp using the same are provided to have excellent heat radiation properties by forming the heat sink with extruded heat radiation pieces. CONSTITUTION: A heat sink(1) includes a ring shaped heat radiation plate(2) comprising a heat spreader(4), a central opening(2e), an outer protrusion(2a) and an outer recess(2b). The heat sink is composed of a plurality of heat pipes(3) penetrating through a number of ring shaped heat radiation plates to maintain horizontally. A radial slot(2c) is placed between a plurality of heat pipes. |
