PURPOSE: A lighting apparatus and a method for selecting toner colors of a medium layer thereof are provided to improve usability of the lighting apparatus by providing the interchangeable medium layer. CONSTITUTION: A lighting apparatus(1) includes a light source(11), a power supply(PW) and a medium layer(12). The medium layer is installed corresponding to the light source and surrounds the light source. The power supply supplies power to the light source to emit a first light(13) with a first color temperature. A first light has a first main wavelength and a second main wavelength. The first main wavelength is less than the second main wavelength. After the first light passes through the medium layer, a peak attenuation of the first main wavelength is larger than that of the second main wavelength.
