<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing capable of suppressing the generation of cage noise and abnormal vibration by defining the circumferential direction width of an axial direction groove formed on the guide surface of an outer race guide cage or an inner race guide cage. <P>SOLUTION: In the roller bearing 1, an axial-direction groove 13 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of a cage 10 of an outer race guiding system. Relational expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied when the amount of the displacement of the center position of the cage 10 is defined as x<SB POS="POST">o</SB>, the outer diameter of the cage 10 is defined as D<SB POS="POST">oc</SB>, the guide diameter of an outer race 2 is defined as D<SB POS="POST">og</SB>, the circumeferential-direction width of the axial-direction groove 13 is defined as h, a guide clearance between the outer race 2 and the cage 10 is defined as ΔL<SB POS="POST">o</SB>, and a clearance between a pocket 11 and a roller 4 is defined as ΔP. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
