摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of preventing cleaning failure (toner slip) or a void in a solid image even in printing a great number of sheets (for example, printing 500,000 sheets), suppressing occurrence of image deletion and continuously giving high-quality images even in a high temperature and high humidity environment (for example at 30&deg;C and 80% RH), and to provide an image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development includes toner particles comprising at least a resin and a colorant, and a cleaning assistant. The toner particles have a volume-basis median diameter (D<SB POS="POST">50</SB>) of 3.0 &mu;m or more and 8.0 &mu;m or less. The cleaning assistant comprises crosslinked acrylic resin particles having a volume-basis median diameter (D<SB POS="POST">50</SB>) of 9.0 &mu;m or more and 25.0 &mu;m or less; and the crosslinked acrylic resin particles are obtained by compounding a crosslinking monomer by 10 mass% or more and 90 mass% or less with respect to the whole polymerizable monomers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
