<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a case well that contains a power source and a gear mechanism, while preventing the efficiency of energy from reducing and the cost from increasing. <P>SOLUTION: A transaxle 20 has: a motor MG2 for output of power to a driving axle 32; the gear mechanism 38 including a differential gear 37 and transferring the power from the driving axle 32 to a drive shaft 39 connected to the differential gear 37; and the case 60 for containing the motor MG2, the gear mechanism 38, and the like. The transaxle includes an impeller 70 mounted to the drive shaft 39 so as to rotate integrally with the drive shaft 39 protruding from the case 60 to the external and for sending air toward the case 60 with a rotation of the drive shaft 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
