<p>A hard multilayer coating film (20) of one embodiment of the present invention is configured by alternately laminating a first coating film (22), which is formed of an oxide or oxynitride of (Ti1-aBa), and a second coating film (24), which is formed of TiB2, on the surface of a base (12, 62, 77). The atomic ratio (a) of the (Ti1-aBa) that constitutes the first coating film (22) satisfies 0.02 = a = 0.7, and the first coating film (22) has a film thickness of 0.1-5.0 µm (inclusive). The second coating film (24) has a film thickness of 0.1-5.0 µm (inclusive), and the total film thickness of the hard multilayer coating film (20) is 0.2-10.0 µm (inclusive). Consequently, the hard multilayer coating film (20) has achieved satisfactory wear resistance, heat resistance, welding resistance and adhesion (adhesive strength).</p> |
