The operator of the payment processing network obtains data that specifies when at least some of the first plurality of messages are to be obtained and/or when at least some of the second plurality of messages are to be dispatched. Obtaining the first plurality of messages and/or scheduling dispatching the second plurality of messages are carried out in accordance with the data.
