<p>The invention relates to a device for protecting the counter of a driver's shoe. The device consists of a cup-shaped component with oppositely oriented wings (4), which is capable of embracing the outside surface of the counter of a shoe and is provided with a loop for holding the article on the heel (5) and a fastening member for securing the article on the foot (6), wherein the cup-shaped component is comprised of two identical parts (1, 2) which are connected on one side by a vertical seam (3) corresponding to the central longitudinal line of the counter, the radius of curvature of the sides that are to be connected corresponding to the radius of curvature of the central longitudinal line of the counter of the shoe; on the other side, the identical parts are connected to the wings, the radius of curvature of the sides that are to be connected being equal to the radius of curvature of the corresponding lateral surface of the counter of the shoe. The loop for holding the article on the heel is oriented such that it constitutes a continuation of the side seams that connect the wings to the elements of the cup-shaped component, and the wings are designed to be capable of embracing the lateral surface of the counter of the shoe. The technical result is a reduction in wear on the counter of a shoe because the protective element fits snugly against the counter and the lateral surfaces of the shoe.</p> |
